If you’re ready for a huge adventure, then test your courage on the rollicking rapids of the Upper Tenorio River in Guanacaste.

The 2 hour drive from Tamarindo to get to the start of this adventure is worth it because there's plenty of excitement that awaits you as you plunge through twists, turns and drops; down 8 miles of intense, challenging rapids.

The Tenorio River has everything a rafter desires, including a one-of-a-kind Class V 12-foot drop! For rafters, this is a must-run river.

The trip on the river lasts for about 2 ½ to 3 hours and includes a snack on the bank of the river with fresh fruit, cookies, juice and water.

At the end of the tour we will make a 40 minute drive to get back to the starting point where you will have a delicious lunch.

Due to its strategic location, this is a purely magical trip with unsurpassed beauty and stunning scenery that will take your breath away.
