Miravalles Waterfalls & Hot Springs
Located 2 hours drive from Tamarindo the impressive Miravalles Volcano is one of most beautiful areas to visit while in Costa Rica.
It offers a wide array of activities and services and its beautiful landscapes and forest makes spending time on this area an exuberant experience.
Our tour begins with a horseback riding tour to the foothills of the volcano that includes a visit to five different waterfalls, where you can swim in one of them.
After having spent the morning visiting the different areas of the volcano, we will head over to where we started where a delicious Costa Rican lunch awaits.
Soon after lunch, we get readSy to start a 30 minutes hike to one of the seven craters that are present on this volcano, along the way we will encounter different volcanic activities like boiling mud pots, fumaroles and steam craters.
Our hike ends on this natural pool of volcanic mud, known for its medicinal properties and ability to rejuvenate skin. Here you will have the opportunity to apply this mud all over your body.
Once the mud is rinsed off you can relax in the natural hot springs at the end of the day before we head back home.
