Cañon de la Vieja Combo
Located one hour and thirty minutes away from Tamarindo.
We start our adventure with a world class Canopy tour (zip lines) that includes rappelling, rock climbing and it takes us through an impressive canyon formed by the lava flows of the last great eruption by the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, then we continue the adventure with a horseback ride through a deciduous forest and farmlands where you can see monkeys, birds and some of the local wildlife.
After, we head to the Colorado River where we embark on an exhilarating, adrenaline filled and refreshing two hour tubing ride on a class II & III rapids; once we are done playing in the river we head to our restaurant overlooking the river where you will enjoy a delicious Costa Rican style lunch.
The rest of the afternoon you will spend it at the hot springs pools located by river where if you prefer, you can swim and jump off the rock into it, either way the fun is guaranteed.
