Arenal Volcano One Day
Arenal is the most iconic volcano in Costa Rica and certainly one of the most beautiful areas this country has to offer.
Our tour begins with a scenic drive around the largest lake in Costa Rica which will take you through lovely mountains and colorful countryside at the bottom of this active volcano.
Our tour includes a magnificent hike through an area of the volcano where in 1968 its largest eruption occurred and you can still observe where the lava and pyroclastic flow changed the landscape of the area mixed with some amazing views of this beautiful and lush rain forest.
Feel part of the jungle walking through the forest at the base of this perfectly conical shaped volcano.
This day will be topped off by a visit to thermal hot springs where the mineral waters are famous for their therapeutic properties to treat arthritis, skin allergies and of course …..Stress!!
